According with some rumors, Facebook may soon be established in China. |
Actually, the social network Facebook is blocked in China. According to the journal "Global Times", the owner of Facebook is looking to enter in the Chinese market, with over 384 million users.
The world's largest social network in China was banned in 2009 along with other services such as Twitter or YouTube, when the Chinese authorities went against the "inappropriate" content on the Internet.
This fact was exploited by Xiaonei, a Chinese replica of Facebook with the same philosophy and similar design, which have become in a referral network for Chinese netizens.
This indicates that vacancies are currently covered in China and it minus potential to the insertion of Facebook.
In China, also have their own messenger (called QQ) and on the other hand, Internet users are wary of the internet and almost no one uses his real name, which would risk the success of a social network like Facebook. |
