A website that explains how to pursue university studies in Argentina. |
I would like to recommend this site to all foreigners who would like to know how to study in Argentina, more about my country, for it contains lots of essential information: http://estudiarenargentina.siu.edu.ar/StudyinArgentina.htm
The information is from reliable sources and is available in several languages.
First of all, it is important to note that except for postgraduate studies, national universities are free in Argentina.
For students (Europeans or North Americans) who wish to pursue a career or get a graduate degree in Argentina, this detail should be thoroughly considered, for exchange rates are now quite advantageous.
The Argentinian lifestyle is quite comfortable and pleasant, and the good nature of its inhabitants make adapting to this new country surprisingly easy.
The main universities are located in Buenos Aires and Cordoba.
Buenos Aires is a much larger and more cosmopolitan city than Cordoba, which is further away from the coast. In both universities, the quality of the programs is in any case very high and greatly appreciated by foreign students living in our country.
No visa is required to enter Argentina
The first four month period of the academic year is between March and July (early winter holiday and Mid-Term Review). The second four month period begins in August and continues until December (the date of final examinations). School is out for summer holidays in January and February in Argentina.
